Rochester Roots & an Athlete’s Perspective
Dr. Stanton is a Rochester native and graduate of Honeoye Falls-Lima High School. He played four years of varsity basketball at Rochester Institute of Technology, giving him firsthand insight into athletic injury, recovery, and returning to competition.
During his fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe, he assisted with coverage of the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings, USC, and Loyola Marymount University. Today, he serves as Division Head of Sports Medicine for Rochester Regional Health and provides orthopaedic surgical care for RIT and several local high school athletic programs.
